Chicago Area Classroom Visits

Would you like a local attorney to visit your classroom to teach a session on intellectual property?

Constitutional Rights Foundation, Street Law, Inc., and International Trademark Association (INTA), are looking for high school teachers in the Chicago area, who would like to open their classroom to an INTA attorney. The attorneys will make two classroom visits and teach The Unreal Campaign: How to Become the Smartest Consumer Ever.

The lesson is part of INTA’s Unreal Campaign and Educate IP (www.educateIP.org), an initiative to educate young people about the importance of intellectual property and the laws and policies protecting it.

What:

In the lesson, your students will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about trademark and intellectual property (IP) laws.
  • Explore legal & policy issues surrounding trademarks & IP.
  • Understand what counterfeiting is, and its impact on society.
